Op de website 3voor12.vpro.nl staat een artikel over het feit dat festival steeds eerder namen bekend maakt. Daarin wordt o.a. Pinkpop-baas Jan Smeets geïnterviewd. Hij vertelt dat het feit dat hij dit jaar eerder met namen voor Pinkpop naar buiten komt, te maken heeft met het succes van festivalsite Graz.nl.
"Dankzij internet, en vooral Graz.nl worden namen steeds sneller bekend. Ze zijn heel behendig geworden in het reconstrueren van het hele programma." Toch speelt er volgens Smeets meer mee dan een overactieve webmaster van een festivalsite....
